CHALLENGE: Design a space that combines the concept of a restaurant and a healthy market in a single space.
SOLUTION: Open space with a clear zoning delimited by the different treatments of materials and furniture.
Fit Choices is a healthy restaurant and market located in the Boca Grande area, Cartagena, that combines materials and elements that recall nature inside. The interior design of this space seeks to integrate two operating concepts: a welcoming space that allows the permanence and enjoyment of healthy meals and at the same time a transit space that encourages the promotion and sale of products.
To address this design challenge, we start from the generation of an open space that concentrates the product display areas on the perimeter and in whose central axis is the table area, delimited by a natural barrier of bamboo trees; By having a defined zoning we ensure the proper functioning of the circulation and activities of the restaurant / market. In this project, particular attention is paid to the design of the furniture and lighting; so that they highlight the qualities of each of the products and therefore encourage their acquisition.
Fit choices, seeks beyond providing a service, to provide an experience to users where the conjunction between good gastronomy, the intimacy of the spaces and the strong connection with nature are the protagonists.
Inspired by its image and nature, this place combines commercial strategies for the promotion and sale of products as well as the feasibility of enjoying it as a restaurant.
