CHALLENGE: Design an office building with flexible spaces that allows collaborative work.
SOLUTION: Interior design of open spaces with an industrial character, where color, materials and furniture are combined to create a comfortable working environment.
The Koombea office building provides a creative work environment for a brand of web developers in the city. This office design is based on the idea of creating versatile and dynamic spaces indoors that promote collaborative work among its employees.
The architectural program is organized over four floors, with the ground floor being a reception area with an industrial character and projecting on the following levels the administrative and creative office areas where a variety of materials are combined such as architectural concrete for wall and floor finishes. with high-end furnishings for the open spaces and closed glass cubicles with grass floors for the private areas; thus generating contrasts in the design at a visual and functional level that seek to optimize the performance of the company and at the same time guarantee the comfort of its employees.
Additionally, a permanent connection between the outside world and the inside is projected by allowing natural light to enter the entire perimeter and including a terrace space with natural gardens that end up creating comfortable and recreational environments for users.
An adaptable office that combines high-end design and flexible areas. You’ll find workspaces with a variety of materials, from glass walls to grass floors, adding a touch of diversity to the scheme and a strong visual contrast between a black background and colorful details. Functional areas are kept clear and uncluttered while windows are left uncluttered to maximize high-impact views.
