CHALLENGE: Design a new image for a traditional Barranquilla restaurant.
SOLUTION: Interior design that optimizes functionality based on a layout with clear zoning and circulations designed based on the display of the products and the service to be provided inside.
Dulcerna Baking Shop is a restaurant located in the city of Barranquilla, which combines the traditional flavor of its cuisine with a new business model created from the renewal of its image with black / gold colors, projecting itself as a space characterized by elegance, functionality and attention to detail.
The interior design of the restaurant is based on the idea of merging two models of attention and service in an open space: fast service / delivery and service for long stays; being the design of circulations decisive for the correct functionality of the space. Starting from the geometric configuration of the brand’s logo, a mosaic for floors is designed that guides the routes in the space and in turn differentiates the area of permanence or tables; This constitutes a marketing and sales strategy that bets on the concepts of brand remembrance.
Dulcerna is projected as a multisensory experience, generated by each of the details present in the environment, such as architectural and decorative lighting, materials and furniture specifically designed to highlight the display of each of its products.
